Instructions
- Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or lightly grease with butter.
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
- Add Rice Krispies cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
- Transfer mixture to prepared pan.
- Lightly press into an even layer without packing tightly.
- Let cool at room temperature before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use low heat and gentle pressing to keep the treats soft and gooey. For extra marshmallow pockets, reserve some marshmallows and fold them in at the end.
