Instructions

Step 1 – Prep Ingredients
Slice cheeses, roll deli meats, and wash/dry fruits.

Step 2 – Create the Turkey Base
Stand the pear upright at the bottom center of the board. Attach candy eyes and a cheddar or carrot “beak.”

Step 3 – Build the Feathers
Layer meats and cheeses in arcs around the pear to form “feathers,” alternating colors and textures.

Step 4 – Fill & Fan
Fan crackers above the meats and fill gaps with fruits, nuts, and dried snacks for balance and color.

Step 5 – Add Finishing Touches
Decorate with mini cookies, pretzels, or fresh herbs. Chill until ready to serve or enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Alternate light and dark ingredients for color contrast.

  • Estimate 3–4 oz cheese and 2 oz meat per person.

  • Keep wet and dry foods separate until serving.

  • Let the board rest 15 minutes before serving for best flavor.
