Ingredients
- 2ยผ cups all-purpose flour
- ยฝ teaspoon baking powder
- ยฝ teaspoon salt
- ยฝ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ยพ cup granulated sugar
- ยผ cup light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ยพ cup chopped fresh strawberries or ยฝ cup freeze-dried strawberries
- ยฝ cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add granulated sugar and brown sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Mix in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in strawberries and white chocolate chips if using.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing cookies apart.
- Bake for 12โ14 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
- Cool briefly on the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Pat fresh strawberries very dry before using to avoid excess moisture. Do not overbake, as the cookies will continue to set while cooling.
