Ingredients
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 29 oz Lake Shore solid pack pumpkin
- 1½ cups sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp allspice
- 2 cups milk
- Two 9-inch pie crusts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Beat eggs in a large bowl, then add pumpkin, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and allspice. Mix until smooth, then gradually add milk.
- Line two 9-inch pie pans with crusts and trim edges. Crimp if desired.
- Pour pumpkin filling evenly into crusts. Bake for about 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely on a wire rack. Serve plain, chilled, or topped with whipped cream or spices.
