Ingredients
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup finely diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
- 2 cans (8 oz each) crushed pineapple, very well drained
- 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups pecan chips or finely chopped pecans
- Butter crackers
- Whole-grain crackers
- Pretzels or fresh vegetables for serving
Instructions
- Drain crushed pineapple thoroughly, pressing out excess liquid. Dice red bell pepper and slice green onion.
- Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add pineapple, bell pepper, green onion, seasoned salt, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 cup pecans. Mix well.
- Shape mixture into a ball on plastic wrap, wrap tightly, and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, roll chilled cheese ball in remaining pecans until fully coated.
- Serve with crackers, pretzels, cucumbers, or celery sticks.
Notes
