Description

Oreo Balls are a delightful, no-bake dessert made with just three simple ingredients: crushed Oreo cookies, cream cheese, and melted chocolate. These bite-sized treats are rich, creamy, and coated in a luscious chocolate shell, making them perfect for holiday gatherings, parties, or an easy sweet snack. With their irresistible flavor and simple preparation, Oreo Balls are guaranteed to be a crowd favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies (regular, not double-stuffed)
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz (340g) semi-sweet or white chocolate, melted
  • Optional: Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzle for decoration

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies (with filling) in a food processor and blend until finely crushed.
  • Mix with Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  • Form the Balls: Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Chill: Refrigerate the balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Dip in Chocolate: Melt the chocolate according to package instructions. Using a fork, dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  • Decorate: Place the coated balls back on the parchment paper and decorate with sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or a chocolate drizzle if desired.
  • Set: Refrigerate the Oreo Balls for another 30 minutes, or until the chocolate shell is firm.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Serve chilled and enjoy these delicious, bite-sized treats!

Notes

  • Use different types of chocolate (milk, dark, or white) for variety.
  • Add a teaspoon of peppermint extract to the mixture for a minty twist.
  • Store Oreo Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
