Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Italian-blend cheese
- 6–8 slices deli-style turkey or chicken
- 1 cup fresh vegetables (bell peppers, spinach, or both), finely chopped
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and Italian seasoning until smooth and evenly mixed.
- Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface and spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the entire tortilla.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Arrange the turkey or chicken slices evenly over the tortilla.
- Sprinkle chopped vegetables evenly on top.
- Starting from one end, roll the tortilla tightly into a log.
- Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Remove from the refrigerator, unwrap, and slice into 1-inch pinwheels.
- Arrange on a platter and serve chilled.
Notes
Do not overfill the tortillas to keep the pinwheels tight. Chilling before slicing is essential for clean cuts and best presentation.
