Ingredients
- 1½ pounds ground turkey
- 2 medium zucchini, diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
- Add ground turkey, breaking it apart, and cook until no longer pink.
- Stir in diced zucchini, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cook uncovered for 5–7 minutes until zucchini is tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, then serve hot.
Notes
Use a wide skillet for even browning and avoid overcooking the zucchini to prevent excess moisture. Finish with fresh herbs if desired.
