Description
An elegant and beautiful bouquet made with fresh strawberries dipped in rich, smooth chocolate. Easy to make and perfect for gifting, celebrations, or a romantic treat at home.
Ingredients
- 12 to 20 large fresh strawberries
- 8 to 12 oz semi-sweet, dark, or milk chocolate
- 4 oz white chocolate or candy melts (optional)
- Wooden skewers or lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles (optional)
- Crushed nuts (optional)
- Shredded coconut (optional)
Instructions
- Gently wash the strawberries and dry them completely with paper towels.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 20 to 30 second intervals, stirring between each.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate while holding the stem.
- Allow excess chocolate to drip off, then place on parchment paper.
- Add decorations while the chocolate is still wet, if desired.
- Let the strawberries set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Once set, carefully insert a wooden skewer into the bottom of each strawberry.
- Arrange the strawberries like a bouquet, placing taller ones in the center.
- Secure in a holder and wrap with decorative paper and ribbon.
Notes
Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping so the chocolate sticks properly. Best enjoyed the same day.
