Description

Experience the indulgent layers of flavor in this Easy Banoffee Pie with a buttery biscuit crust, silky caramel, ripe bananas, and fluffy whipped cream — a classic no-bake dessert anyone can make.


Ingredients

  • 300g digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 150g unsalted butter, melted
  • 375g caramel sauce
  • 23 large ripe bananas, sliced
  • 450ml double cream
  • 50g icing sugar
  • 25g chocolate curls


Instructions

  1. Crush digestive biscuits into crumbs and mix with melted butter, then press into a 23cm tart tin and chill for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Pour caramel sauce over the crust, spread evenly, and chill again for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Slice bananas and arrange them evenly over the caramel layer.
  4. Whip double cream with icing sugar until soft peaks form, then spread over bananas.
  5. Top with chocolate curls and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

Use ripe but firm bananas to prevent mushiness. Chill well so the layers set properly.
