Ingredients
- 300g digestive biscuits, crushed
- 150g unsalted butter, melted
- 375g caramel sauce
- 2–3 large ripe bananas, sliced
- 450ml double cream
- 50g icing sugar
- 25g chocolate curls
Instructions
- Crush digestive biscuits into crumbs and mix with melted butter, then press into a 23cm tart tin and chill for 10–15 minutes.
- Pour caramel sauce over the crust, spread evenly, and chill again for 10–15 minutes.
- Slice bananas and arrange them evenly over the caramel layer.
- Whip double cream with icing sugar until soft peaks form, then spread over bananas.
- Top with chocolate curls and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Notes
Use ripe but firm bananas to prevent mushiness. Chill well so the layers set properly.
