Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or 1/4 teaspoon maple extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter, optional


Instructions

  1. Combine milk, water, and salt in a medium saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer.
