Description

Tender meatballs simmered in a sweet-tangy cranberry glaze — the perfect quick party appetizer for holidays, potlucks, or easy entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lbs pre-cooked frozen meatballs (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • OR homemade meatballs
  • 1 can (14 oz) cranberry sauce
  • 1 bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, and brown sugar in a saucepan; heat over medium until smooth. Add a splash of water if needed.
  2. Add frozen or chilled meatballs and stir to coat; bring to a light simmer.
  3. Cover and simmer 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and glaze is thick. Add lemon juice at the end.

Notes

Simmer on low to prevent scorching, adjust sweetness to taste, and use a slow cooker on Warm for serving at parties.
