Ingredients
- 4 cups carrots, peeled and julienned
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons chili crisp
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely grated
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Place julienned carrots in a large bowl, sprinkle with salt, and toss gently.
- Let carrots sit for 5 minutes, then add green onions and cilantro.
- In a small heatproof bowl, combine chili crisp, ginger, honey, and sesame seeds.
- Heat sesame oil until shimmering, then carefully pour over chili crisp mixture and stir.
- Add lemon juice to the dressing and mix well.
- Drain excess liquid from carrots if needed.
- Pour dressing over carrots and toss until evenly coated.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve immediately or let sit 5โ10 minutes before serving.
